23.03.2010 Ryanair now flying to Sardinia from Bratislava

Dublin / Bratislava, 23rd of May 2010: Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low cost airline announces today that it will add to its existing network from Bratislava yet again: this time to the sunny island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean. The first flight from Bratislava to Alghero will depart on Thursday, 24th of June 2010 and leave twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays between the two countries.

With two weekly flights, Alghero is not only suitable for a week long holiday but also an ideal long-weekend trip destination. Hiking, sightseeing, bathing or simply wine tasting are some of the many attractions that Sardinia has to offer. Situated at the northwest boarder of the Island, Alghero furthermore offers a lovely harbour and great views over the ocean.

The historic city of Alghero is rich of architectural and natural heritage, typical for medieval Spanish cities. Thick walls are surrounding the historic city centre, which is located on a rock spur. Narrow streets and deep steps lead to Piazzas and hidden churches. It is this atmosphere and lifestyle that makes Alghero one of the most visited destinations in Sardinia.

Curious? Then book your summer destination now. Flights to celebrate this new route are available as of Wednesday, 24th of March 2010 only on www.ryanair.com and are bookable until Wednesday, 31st midnight for only €26.99 one way, including taxes and charges.
