Before departure
Before you leave the house, check if:
- you have turned off all electric and gas devices
- you have secured all windows and doors
- you have emptied the dust bins
- the pets and flowers are taken care of
- you have settled any important dues
- someone has a reserve key to take care of the house in case of emergency
Also, check if you have taken your:
- personal documents (national ID card, passport)
- entry requirements, visa (if necessary)
- insurance documents
- travel documents (flight ticket, accommodation,...)
- money and credit cards
Pack in your carry-on bag
- medications necessary during the flight
- chewing gum / candies to alleviate ear pressure during take-off/landing
- entertainment for long while
Also pack in your carry-on bag:
- valuable and fragile items like cameras, movie cameras, jewellery, etc.
Sharp items and dangerous substances:
- do not belong in your hand luggage
- please see rules for transporting these items on the airport’s website or
- consult with your carrier
Prohibited items and carriage of liquids
Prohibited items are those that can be misused for illegal interference in the security of civil transportation.
Onboard or in your hand luggage, the following items are prohibited:
- firearms
- pointed weapons / sharp objects
- blunt objects
- explosive and inflammable materials
- chemical and poisonous substances
Onboard or in your hand luggage, you may only carry liquids or gels conditioned that:
a) maximum package size is 100 ml
b) the cumulative volume of all packages must not exceed 1 litre
c) liquids and gels must be packed in a separate, see-through, sealable bag
Passengers are required to take out the plastic bag containing liquids and gels from their hand luggage and present it separately to security control.

Notice:
The above-mentioned list of prohibited items and liquids is illustrative. The security control staff is entitled to confiscate any items causing reasonable suspicion of possibility to endanger the security of civil transportation.
How to get packed correctly
To ease your travel, below we present several basic rules that will help you securely carry all your personal belongings and avoid any complications at security control:
- study the terms and conditions of transport attached to your flight ticket and focus on size and weight limits of hand and hold luggage
- pick a suitable suitcase or travel bag
- always carry all valuables and fragile items like jewellery, cameras or fragile souvenirs with you in your hand luggage
- those liquids and gels that you wish to have on board with you during the flight need to be in maximum volume of 100ml each, packed in a see-through packet
- put liquids and gels exceeding the 100ml limit into your hold luggage
- put sharp items like manicure sets, pocket knives, razors, scissors or tools into your hold luggage
- follow the rules of your carrier concerning the allowed number of hand luggage pieces onboard
- protect your hold luggage with a travel lock
- to prevent damage or illegal manipulation, protect your luggage with protective foil (the packing service at the airport)
How to pass security control correctly
- put your hand luggage on the conveyor belt of the screening device
- take out your liquids
- when carrying a PC, take it out from the protection bag and put it separately into the container
- take off the outer layers of your clothing like coats, jackets, anoraks etc.
- take off your belt and watches
- take all metal items like keys, coins and mobile phones out from your pockets
- pass the detection frame upon the request of the security controller
- follow other instructions of the security control staff
Special assistance for passengers with reduced mobility (PRMs)
Passengers with reduced mobility are persons with any type of health disability. Passengers with reduced mobility are entitled to receive free special assistance during the procedures at the airport.
General rules of special assistance:
- the passenger is supposed to request the special assistance at least 48 hours prior to the planned departure from his carrier or travel agent
- upon his arrival at the airport, the passenger is supposed to come to the special assistance contact point, which is situated right at the main entrance into the departures hall
- the passenger calls for assistance service to inform of his arrival
- the dedicated worker picks up the passenger and assists him/her with all procedures at the airport up to the boarding of the aircraft.
