Airport Bratislava clearly denies the information published in several media that the recent security police training, that took place at Poprad Airport on Saturday 2nd January, was at the same time running at Bratislava Airport. This kind of police training is never carried out at Airport Bratislava.
At the same time we would like to assure our passengers that the luggage sorting area is under constant surveillance of CCTV, whereby the security is supervised both by the national police force and the airport’s security staff. Passengers´ luggage can only be open at the owner’s presence, when there is a suspicion of carrying an explosive or other forbidden material inside the luggage.
