Passengers in Bratislava can board towards Trapani as of the 7th of May 2010: twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, makes this the perfect destination for a long weekend in the Mediterranean.
And Sicily has plenty to offer: having been named as the most romantic places in the Mediterranean it is characterized by long stretches of coast line, stunning countryside and provincial towns that invite not only couples to explore it further. Enjoy a glass of chilled wine and some local “cuisine” and watch some of the most spectacular sunsets in Europe or visit one of the many villages or ancient sites that Sicily has to offer.
Trapani itself is also not short of attractions: shopping and architecture, beaches and picturesque windmills. The shallow waters near the shore make it suitable for salt works and safe swimming whereas sailors and water sport lovers will enjoy the deeper waters.
Henrike Schmidt, Ryanair’s Sales & Marketing Manager for Slovakia said:
“Not only are we welcoming the first passengers on our inaugural flight to Paris-Beauvais today but are also celebrating yet again a new route to/from Bratislava, this time to the beautiful island of Trapani in Southern Italy. This clearly is a time of growth for Ryanair and shows that an economic crisis can be turned around – by a formula of unbeatable low prices, guaranteed no fuel surcharges and an outstanding punctuality rate”.
To celebrate this new route to/from Bratislava Ryanair has announced a special offer of €19.99 per ticket, including taxes and charges. This can be booked only on www.ryanair.com until Thursday 3rd of December at midnight. Travel is between 30th of March 2010 – 31st of May except public holidays. So book your spring break now and don’t miss out on this outstanding offer.
Ryanair is the World’s favourite airline with 37 bases and 950+low fare routes across 26 countries, connecting 150 destinations. By the end of December 2009 Ryanair will operate a fleet of 210 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with firm orders for a further 102 new aircraft (before taking account of planned disposals), which will be delivered over the next 2.5 years. Ryanair currently employs a team of more than 7,000 people and expects to carry approximately 66 million passengers in the current fiscal year.
