Baggage
After arriving at the Bratislava Airport the passenger will collect his/her baggage on baggage delivery belts in the arrival hall. In case that his/her baggage has been delivered to him/her in the damaged condition or it has not been delivered, he/she must contact the airport personnel at the baggage claims office, which will put down a report on this incident in writing.
In case that the baggage was damaged, the passenger must contact, with the report, the airline operator, that has flown him/her, and he/she can claim the compensation of damages by this company.
In case that the baggage has not been delivered to him/her at all, after writing the report, the airport personnel will search for the undelivered baggage. Then the baggage will be delivered to the address given in the report. During the period of search for the baggage the passenger is entitled to compensation, which he/she must demand by the airline operator that has flown him/her. Each airline operator has other forms of compensation.
The report must be written immediately after the arrival and the discovery of damaging or loss of baggage, otherwise the claim for compensation of damages shall be considered as unfounded.
